1535 Petition

We the undersigned call on South Gloucestershire Council to reduce the seven hundred Heavy Goods Vehicles using the B4059 Latteridge/Church Road daily, by the imposition of a 7.5 tonne weight limit.

This action is essential in order to:

 

 


preserve

the Scheduled Ancient Monument of Acton Court.



protect

the habitat of the barn owls, bats and other rare
indigenous species



preserve

the fragile environment of this ancient lane



stop

continuing damage and erosion on the narrow road



ensure

the safety of pedestrians and visitors
