The Servants’ Tour: History Talking

Join the servants of the house as they go about the business of preparing for the visit of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn to Acton Court. This interactive costumed tour explores the life and habits of the serving classes in Tudor times. Enjoyable for all ages. Storytelling sessions for children included in 2pm and 4pm tours.

Archaeology Day:
Artefacts from Bristol City Museum

Bristol City Museum brings some of the finds from the archaeological digs at Acton Court. The archaeologists who worked on the site, Rob Bell and Kirsty Rodwell, will conduct tours to explain the finds in the context of the house and grounds.
